Attachment is a Sensory Game!

I've started this blog primarily to provide a way to share my passion about attachment and sensory issues. I am hoping to regularly post connecting games as we discover them and develop them. My kids and I (and my sister and her kids) are having a lot of fun with this! Please join us!

  1. This is such an important topic. I'm looking forward to reading more!

We have definitely found that sensory issues can get in the way of attachment. If a child doesn't have that sense of well-being then they have trouble accepting attachment types of activities. I've noticed that often the sweetest moments of connection happen right after a sensory activity. Once that sensory need is met they are more willing to cuddle, make eye contact and let me into their world. It's really neat to see.
